Introduction to a Global Benefits Strategy
In our opening session, we will focus on the challenges involved when establishing global benefits for overseas offices. The session will consider the high-level framework and considerations which go into benefits such as contractual, legislative, and logistical issues at play as part of any global project and will serve as in introduction to understanding how to build a global strategy.
Introduction to Canadian Benefits, Case Study #1
You will be introduced to important steps in setting up your Canadian employees with the appropriate provincial, federal and social insurance programs. You will learn about requirements to implement a new benefits program and some things to consider about your program’s overall competitiveness in Canada. General information surrounding funding models and products available in the Canadian marketplace will also be shared.
Introduction to European Benefits, Case Study #2
This session will focus on the intricacies of employee benefits in Europe by using case studies. The session will consider the impact of social security and local legislation before venturing into the purchasing power in each local market. This will serve as a good introduction to understanding how different the benefits can be across countries in the European market ensuring an appreciation for local benefits nuances.
Introduction to International Mergers & Acquisitions
